The Finger Lakes

Wednesday, July 6th, our friends left Oswego, New York and headed off to cross Lake Ontario, and we had to say goodbye. We have been traveling together, off and on, for a couple months.

Kathleen and Steve head out.

Brenda and Scott pose for one more picture.

We rented a car, left the boat, and headed for Geneva, New York to attend Kristin and AJ's vow renewal. This part of New York has so many farms, and they are immaculate.

Many of these farms are owned by Menonites.

Geneva is on Seneca Lake, one of the finger lakes. It is a beautiful place.

Here we are having some great Italian food with some members of AJ's family, Kristin, and Stuart.

This is an old railroad car in Penn Yan, now a restaurant, great breakfast!

Belhurst Castle

There are so many beautiful old churches here.

Old Opera House in Geneva.
Wineries are everywhere. This is Three Brothers, that also has a brewery.

Friday night, July 8th, was the vow renewal ceremony.

Robbie conducted the ceremony.

The Fratto Five: Morgan, Sydney, Kristin, AJ, and Anthony, they have been married for 20 years and have three beautiful kids.

Robbie and his sister and brother-in-law are returning to the boat on July 9th, and heading into Lake Erie. I am taking the cats and going to stay with friends in Buffalo. When they are ready, I will trade places with my in-laws and return to the boat.
